About Heath

My name is Heath Queen and I am a Lutheran seminarian (ELCA) writing from the Twin Cities in Minnesota. I have B.A. in Political Science from Wittenberg University and will complete my M.Div. in Systematic Theology from Luther Seminary in 2022. For the past four years, I have primarily been working in vocational discernment and professional development for Wittenberg University in Ohio. There I had the opportunity to work with students to plan for their career goals and I was able to assist the university as they re-imagined career development work on campus. In addition to working for the university, I also served as a part-time Contingent Support Chaplain for a local children’s hospital and as a supply preacher in the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America.

On a personal note, I married my best friend in 2016 after we had been together for almost 4 years! Courtney graduated last year with a Masters in School Counseling from The Ohio State University and is working in a local school district here in the Twin Cities. We are strong supporters of each other and I’m excited for this new journey that she is on.
